Monday is Angry Aussie Day. Why? Because I LOVE HIS SENSE OF HUMOR!!!! It's like XO, but Australian. And on Video. WOOO HOO!!!!

I know Poodles, Reed and XO are all HUGE Barak Obama supporters. And I found myself wondering, how much is too much?

And lo and behold, Mr. Angry has an answer.

Enjoy!!!!

I LOVE ANGRY AUSSIE!!! In a totally blogger friendly, non-stalking, I know he has a family, kind of way.

First you say I'm built like a football (US) player, now you say I'm "HUGE". I'm starting to get offended.

"pony boy" WTF? I like a rant best when the ranter fucks up his speech, then it's a rant.

The below, lest you think so, is not simply a rejection of Obama in favor of McCain. It is much more than that, it is an appeal to History.

Frankly, I cannot imagine why anyone would actually want Obama as President of America. Sure Obama can appeal to his audience, but not on rational political terms which, clearly, his fans have no capacity to understand.

Want the Internet & Media controlled by the State, that's "Fairness Doctrine" Obama.

Want more G.W.Bush chicken sh_t foreign policy, and more terror strikes on America, that's "Mr. Internat'l Collaboration" Obama.

Want poorer quality education, that's "It Takes A Village" Obama.

Want more cronyism and backroom dealings, that's "Ayers'" Obama.

Want more lies to the public, that's "Let's Allow Fraudulent Credit Cards" Obama.

Want more politicians who break their own rules, that's "Campaign Financing" Obama.

Want a President who has the power to declare martial law, without the approval of Congress, as Hitler had, that will be Obama. (This new Presidential power is thanks to the Bush Admin.)

Want a Domestic Military enforcing ...what?... on American citizens, that's "Sturmabteilung" Obama.

* * *

"So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other."

That might have been the appeal uttered by U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to support the sub-prime bailout, but it is actually an excerpt from president-elect Barrack Obama's victory speech, reprinted in the Daily Telegraph (London) on November 5.

Compare that excerpt with:

"The first obligation of every citizen must be to work both spiritually and physically. The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interests of universality, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all."

That was Point Ten of the program of the NSDAP, or the National Socialist German Workers Party, better known as the Nazi Party.

I am quite sure that Obama is not as twisted as Hitler —though that Jeremiah Wright things is pretty disturbing. But that is not why I put up those two quotations.

I put up the quotations to demonstrate that Obama is IN PRINCIPLE pursuing the ideals of Statism, not freedom.

That means he stands for the elimination of Individual Rights in the only country to ever seriously attempt to implement them. In the only country where men were once almost fully free.

The forces of statism in America have been growing, slowly at first, almost from the year the Constitution was first drafted. Those forces accelerated in the early 1900s, until FDR. The Depression of '29, like today's financial crisis, was a combination of government interference and businessmen attempting to capitalize on circumstances with very unwise practices. FDR prolonged that Depression drastically, by printing money and making the same welfare state promises we have now heard from Obama!! Since Nixon the incursions on individual rights have grown exponentially, particularly thanks to leftist altruism, religious altruism and environmental altruism. All three demand one ignore one's own needs, sacrificing them for the nation, a god, or rocks and bugs, respectively.

Lest you have lost track, and think I am only against Obama, the self admitted hollow man (read as, "willing to appear to be whatever will get him in power"), I am every bit as opposed to McCain. Now, McCain is a moot point, but Obama is not!

Those who do not learn from History are doomed to repeat it!

Amen, Richard! (pardon the pun)

Those who wanted Obama for President did not do enough research into his policies and background, IMO. Now, I am not calling Obama supporters stupid... just that they either did not take the time to know him and his policies or didn't care because he is a good public speaker. But good public speaking does not a great President make.

I am hoping that there are such things as miracles... so Obama's Presidency does not take our country further into the spiral downward it is taking (and did you notice the downfall of the economy started after the democrats took over control of the House and Senate?) Hmmm.
