only 3 packing days remain

AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Breathe, deep, slow, calm,

NO NO Not rapid shallow frantic breaths.

SLOW....slllllloooooooooowwwwwwwllllllllyyyyyyyy breathe.

Ok.

So- Richard has shown up after several weeks' absence and has added several thoughts to some of the last few. If you like his work, go back about 5 posts and work your way forward. Also, we've got a Christian who has appeared as well, Joyce I think her name is. She has accepted Pascal's wager (see Christianity Explained) and considers this to be a sinful world full of judgmental people (see Atheism is to Homeschooling as...).

I'm quite sorry there aren't any links, it's late, I'm tired and I need to spend some quality time with my pillow.

And hopefully NOT dream of never ending lists of things that need to be done or hear a relentless clock ticking and definitely NOT the theme song to Jeapordy playing in my head.

g'night all. :) thanks for checking in!

So are you planning to continue blogging once in Australia?

You should definitely pack the Mark Twains book which details his trip around Australia. (shouldn't take to many reams of paper to print it out :) http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/2895) I haven't read it yet but maybe it will be interesting for you.

To my mind the exterior aspects and character of Australia are fascinating things to look at and think about, they are so strange, so weird, so new, so uncommonplace, such a startling and interesting contrast to the other sections of the planet -- Mark Twain

Yes indeedly do, I will be blogging from Oz!:) Protes insisted I bring my laptop along for just that very purpose.

Thanks for the heads-up on Twain's book! Will have to give that a go, Project Gutenberg is an amazing resource for that obscure stuff. Knowing Twain I'm sure 4 or 5 reams ought to about do it. ;)

I was wrong, it's 2 days of packing, Saturday and Sunday. Then I take the kdis to Montana and spend a week with Mum and Dad. Then I drive back and fly out the next day. Because of the inernational date line it takes me 3 days to get there: I leave on the 27th and arrive the 29th.

No bloody wonder I can't sleep! :)

If you think you can't sleep now, wait until you arrive in Australia!!! Do all that you can to shift your sleep cycle before you leave.

That also means meals should be shifted too. Even set your watch to Perth time, and schedule meals and sleep accordingly. I guarantee you that it will help you enjoy your arrival and first few days a heck of a lot more fun.

When I went to Scotland I thought I could just tough through it. But jet lag really sucks, and was messing with my mind, not just my body.

Wishing you all the best! I'm sure if you forget anything, you can get it there. Get some sleep, girl! Big good-bye hugs and don't worry about a thing. It looks like your accomodations are all set!! LOL!
