fuck politics and fuck all the fucking politicians

When Fiery weeps, she weeps the F-word.

Several months ago I created a political banner for the side of my blog endorsing Ron Paul for president of the united fucking states. I thought he was a man of reason, of freedom, of worth.

This is what the fucker fucking stands for...
Paul said he was pro-life and would make reversing the decision [Roe v. Wade] a top priority.

He also said that more people should be exposed to what abortion does to an unborn child and women who have them.

“The country should see what is happening and when they see the violence of abortion and what it really means, maybe they too would change their attitude about abortion,” said Paul.

Paul, a Texas congressman, also said he would make sure that taxpayer funds are not used to pay for abortions and explained that his training as a gynecologist taught him that human life is valuable.

"Life is sacred. The most obscene thing government could do is to ... use your money to commit abortion," he said to loud applause.

Fuck Ron Paul and his bid for the fucking presidency.

Politicians are all fucking corrupt trying to take america to hell as fast as fucking possible.

Political discussions are fucking pointless.

I don't like the term hate crimes.

Some of you believe there should be hate crimes.

None of us fucking matter. Our opinions our beliefs don't fucking matter.

FUCK ALL THE POLITICIANS.

Please, don't hold back Fiery!

Well, if the hate crimes debate has shown us anything, it is that we atheists are not a monolith, and that's okay.

I am not going to get into a big argument though, because while I support hate crime laws, it is not exactly a front burner issue for me.

When it comes to politicians, you are never going to find a candidate who agrees with you on almost everything. If you support abortion rights, Ron Paul is probably not your guy. Still, since he is against the war in Iraq, I still like having him in the race because at least he gets that message out there.

If you click on my blog, I have a post up that might at least give you a few chuckles!

It is definetely a quandry you find yourself in. Ron Paul is unelectable, that much is certain. Where does one compromise? If you plan to vote Republican, you will clearly have to choose, The life of the soldier or the life of the unborn.

You could always vote for a Dem and get both along with hideously high taxes followed by 5 years of recession or worse.

Reg,
I don't remember a recession during the clinton years. Actually I remember a suplement in our government budget. I think Bush has pissed that all away.

I don't have a favorite candidate yet. It will probably come down to the lesser of two evils. I am glad that there are the fringe candidates involved it gets ideas in the forum that normally wouldn't be there.

Stewart/Colbert 2008!

Suplement=Supplement.

I'm not sold on hate crimes. For me, the point should be the crime, not the hate.

The politicians are not trying to take America to hell as fast as possible; they are just out for themselves, and if America goes to hell in the process, they don't really care. For the most part, they are still self-serving jerkwads who don't give a shit about everybody else. In Canada, even though we have typical self-serving politians, you can at least sense some underlying desire to help the country (even if some of them are ass-backwards and incompetent).

Most of the time recessions have little to do with the president and everything to do with the Federal Reserve manipulating our money supply and interest rates.

The Federal Reserve caused the Clinton boom, followed by an inevitable bust. It also caused the housing boom under Bush. We are seeing that inevitable bust right now.

Also, Clinton's supplement (surplus?) was a government accounting fiction. If businesses did the books like his and other administrations do, they would be put in jail.

If you believe the "surplus" that he talked about meant that the government had more money than debt, you have been deceived. During the "surplus" the federal debt was about $5.5 trillion.

To the Impeder,

Welcome to my blog! And thank you for commenting on this volatile subject.

The federal reserve... the corruption there is so rank and yet so many remain unaware of the horror that they represent.

America has had two elections in a row where the choice was moron A or moron B. It never really mattered which one won... Americans lose.

The next election will be no different. Good candidates whether from the Left or the Right cannot rise through the ranks enough to lead either party. Even the best will necessarily be flawed, because to be a politician is to be willing to corrupt one's own beliefs for the sake of the party.

The only hope is for a return to Reason. Only then will the Left be purged from universities and the media, and be banished back to patio coffee shops. Only then will the Right nervously retreat to the 'sanctity' of their altars, icons spires, and pews. (Say that fast!)

America's hope lies in separation of church and state (toss out the Right) and separation of the economy and the state (toss out the Left).

Save the poor: toss out the (government mandated) sacrifice of some Americans to others.

Richard said, "Filthy language only demonstrates a person's state of mind, or lack thereof."

*sigh* You are right, my "filthy language" absolutely reflects the state of mind I was in at the time of writing.

Betrayed, disappointed, horrified, depressed, saddened and appalled that there is no politician who is not debased and corrupt.

It's a good thing that while Fiery burns hot in the moment, she cools rapidly and reason again reigns supreme.

Filthy language is an expression, perhaps poor expression of total frustration and dispair.

It also indicates to me that Fiery has gone past reasoned and cold anger.

Swear all you like Fiery. The rest of your writing indicates quality thought. When this is punctuated with the well chosen expletive it adds impact, which I think was your intention.

Personally I don't think any social issues are going to matter much if the biggest social issue of all isn't taken more seriously. I'm talking about the decline of our ecosystems, global warming, etc...

For the record I'm pretty fed up with politicians too...

Reg Golb said...

Tell me exactly how your ecosystem has declined.

Tell me when the globe wasn't warming or cooling.

You are an atheist. Then you believe the world has been around for billions of years right?

How long has man been around? What are you comparing our current climate to?

Just curious.

Personally, I think fuck is a great word. It can be a verb, and adjective and I suppose a noun if you are brave.

Hey Poodles, my kids have shown me something on youtube about 'fuck' where it is put into sentences, and its usage as many parts of speech are demonstrated. Hilarious!

Though you might be interested...
